Would love to do this sort of thing for a seeding/influencer campaign to send out to bloggers
Something for TED next year?

This is a lovely example of the kind of thing that Matt and I might start doing with 60Grams to start conversations…
Viral marketing doesn’t have to involve a video on YouTube. It could come in the form of a mysterious glass jar filled with strange items sent via FedEx to your door. Discovery Channel’s latest marketing campaign for Shark Week is just that. Blogger Jason Dowdell opened his promotional jar to discover a series of clues and a note imploring him to “investigate the evidence.” He was directed to a website for more information. It is unknown how many of these jars were sent out, but we can see that this might be an emerging trend. Many marketers have been sending promotional materials beyond press packs and free books to bloggers with big voices in hope that their product will be the subject of a blog entry.
