We have said for a long time here at Holler that to connect with consumers in meaningful and engaging ways, often utility is the best way to achieve this. This is probably even more apt if you are a governmental department. I am not sure why, but governments on the whole still focus their communications strategy on blast messaging rather than the process of softer paternalism and positive reinforcement. Hopefully this new application from The Australian National Preventive Health Agency, will have a more positive effect on peoples habits and support them anywhere, anytime to quit smoking.
This seems to be an innovative, comprehensive and progressive step forward in relation to the government taking positive steps to providing us with truly valuable digital platforms and resource to make positive changes.
