We often discuss the topic of art and artistic endeavours becoming more accesible through the advent of technology. Platforms such as Instagram and Pinterest have enabled consumers in easy, accessible and intuitive ways to express themselves and their indentities to the world.

This is another brilliant example of exactly that. Dale Chihuly is a famous glass blower and artist who creates intricate installations using his unique talent, has created an iPhone app. To promote himself and his art the app allows people to make their own virtual glass blown creation. By blowing into the microphone users can simulate somne of the techniques that Dale uses to create his masterpeices. A great example of controlling UGC through providing tools but at the same time allowing for expression.
